My family always shared stories about
ourselves, our friends, and distant relatives. Some were daily, others
weekly, they were always very special. The stories are about who we
are and what is important to our family. They are funny, touching and
enduring! In trying times, these stories take us home, for a
comforting moment! It is a way we see our relatives and friends, that
we cherish, so that they live forever.
This is my invitation, to email me a
short story about your family, with your name and address. I will
create a painting to go with selected stories, and email you a link so you
can see your story with my painting.
There is no cost to you, you are
merely giving me permission to use excerpts from your story with my
paintings. Please pick a color, that you associate with your story as:
Blue, Blue-Violet, Violet, Red, Orange, Green, Yellow, Turquoise, and then
soft colors or bright colors. If you would like to see my painting
with excerpts from your story Email me:

Excerpts - "Turner Family"
After the farm chores were done, my father who had played some professional
baseball, would use the chimney as a backstop to teach us softball.
There were no rules, other than not break the windows! My dad
would pitch and I did a lot of trying. This painting was painted
outdoors, as a reminder of those days!
Title: "Not Break the Windows!"
Birch Panel, Oil on Linen, 8" x6",
