After the farm chores were done, my father who had played some professional
baseball, would use the chimney as a backstop to teach us softball.
There were no rules, other than not break the windows! My dad

It was a quiet overcast day, thoughts just drifting in the

Afternoon Book"
I was painting at Bayport, and he said will I be in your way, and I said no
I will just include you in my painting, as you read your book. Many

"Disappearing
Sandcastles"
It is very misty this morning, and you can't see very far, and there is such
a nice cool breeze. The sand is very wet, and you can feel the damp
air surround you. The tide is coming in, the sandcastle only be her a
short time, then just disappears forever.

"Afternoon Dreams"
It was a place to sit and pass the day, way down a winding dirt road at Pine
Island. When you reached the end of the road, it is as quiet as an
afternoon dream.

"Storm Watching!"
The storm was coming today, you could see it in the distance. It was a
challenge to paint. The wind grabbed my painting and threw it under my
car, but I got it and finished just before the rain!

The manatees were playing in the water, and I asked if I could include her

This was painted at Hernando beach, the sun was so hot, and it felt good to
